Galerie Ron Mandos begint het voorjaar met een duister tintje. Maurice Braspenning presenteert voor GAP, een serie grote en kleine nieuwe werken waarin verloren zielen en semi-verlaten ruimtes de hoofdrol spelen. Tijdens de opening zal hij ook zijn nieuwe publicatie GAP presenteren. Vlaams kunstenaar Michaël Aerts presenteert in de achterste ruimtes van de galerie recente schilderijen en tekeningen.

| morePoSt-projects is announcing Joint Departure, a collaborative project between the artists Marc Müller and Niels Staats. For Joint Departure Marc and Niels intend to utilise the architecture at PoSt-projects as a temporary container/structure that encloses their residency. Within this containment, results from their month long co-operation are allowed to accumulate. Working together for the first time, their collaborative project will explore imaginary worlds- both futuristic and historic.

KAREL DOING INE LAMERS MELS VAN ZUTPHEN MIRJAM SOMERS
Ine Lamers is an artist who works with both photography and video installations. Her works are
atmospheric statements about people in their surroundings. For years Ine has felt passionately
connected to Russia and the Baltic countries. In her films, where she works with actors and
non-actors, it is in the first place the atmosphere that creates a strange distance with the
presented situation, meditative, beautiful and at the same time uncomfortable, disturbing. A
distance that keeps her work strongly connected to visual art. Ine’s work Ustala is now showing
in Museum Boijmans until may. Within the project KIMM Ine created ‘White Nights’.
In het Gorcums Museum is van 20 februari t/m 11 april de tentoonstelling Portretten van de 21e eeuw te zien. Een tentoonstelling waarin schilderijen, werken op papier, foto’s en ruimtelijke objecten een beeld geven van een van de belangrijkste genres in de beeldende kunst van de laatste 10 jaar: het portret. Opgenomen zijn kunstwerken van meer dan 20 kunstenaars die in Nederland wonen en werken.
